Saturday Finds 11/18/2012

The girl that Alica is singing about in this song is me.  Yeahyouknowit. I'm on fire. It should say "these deals were on fire..."

Saturday I hit Goodwill first and bought some new shoes.  I had my eye on these loafers for a couple weeks  because I was hoping that they would go half off one day but negative.  I bought them full price because I was really freaked out that my size would vanish and I would miss out. No worries they still had the tags on them from Target.  They are Merona.  Not used.  Brand new.

Nostalgia Corner in downtown Loveland was next.  This.Place.Is.Awesome.  They have everything plus your grandmas kitchen sink. Not that you would want that but if you did it's there.  I saw it.

I spent an hour an half (on accident) in there.  I bought an awesome yellow Coke crate and these Letterman jacket letters. I love the way that they look in this old chalk box.

I happened  across some old spools of yarn at a store called Splurge while I was downtown. Look for them inside the yellow crate below. The booth had them marked $4 each but I asked the lady working to call the booth owner and see if I could get a deal if I bought more than 5.  She obliged and I was able to walk out of there with 10 at $2.50 each.  The owner tried to get me to not buy all of them because she wanted a couple.  Ummmm negative lady.  I found them-- they'z mine.

Lastly, I went to an old thrift shop.  I don't even know the name of it but I found a zip lock bag full of old match books from the 50's plus or minus 20 years.  What grabbed my attention was a book from Enid, Oklahoma.  One of my sorority sisters/ college roommates lives there now and works for the Enid so I had to buy that bag and send her a picture of it.

I also found a milk bottle and a piece of Pyrex that I was missing from a set of nesting bowls. They had 30% yesterday so my Pyrex was cheappppppppp.
